Chanel is a Senior Program Consultant for Sharing the Power Foundation. In this capacity, she leads clean energy and sustainability career development initiatives for student leaders who attend historically black colleges and universities (HBCUs) while contributing to the expansion of programmatic portfolios.

As a public health professional and wellness practitioner, Chanel with over 15 years of diverse experience and demonstrated expertise in leadership program development, client management, strategic planning, and relationship building vin community, federal, and nonprofit organizational settings. She is published in 15 health and scientific journals. Also, Chanel is the Founder of The Best of Yourself, a wellness business that supports reimagining and aligning professional goals alongside personal values, sustainable wellness, and endless possibilities. Chanel is passionate about offering spaces where others can connect with self, share experiences, and be themselves.

Chanel earned a Bachelor of Science in Biology from Morgan State University, a Master of Arts in Psychology from the Catholic University of America, and a Master of Health Science in Mental Health from the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health.
